Nigerian DJ DJ Kaywise has shared a personal reflection about his music journey, revealing a shift in how he now approaches the records he supports.

In a recent statement, he admitted that after deep reflection, he realised that some of the songs he promoted in the past no longer align with who he is today.

According to him, there were times he pushed records without fully understanding the meaning behind the lyrics.

He added that he is now taking deliberate steps to “clean” his catalog, focusing only on music that reflects his values and personal beliefs.

Going forward, the DJ said he intends to support only songs that genuinely resonate with him, noting that clarity and alignment now guide his decisions.
