It suggests that when females stay close together, they may release *pheromones* , tiny chemical signals the body gives off without us knowing. These signals can influence the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that controls menstrual hormones like GnRH, FSH and LH.

In simple terms, your brain may be quietly adjusting in response to people around you.

It’s not just humans. Animals use pheromones too. Ants use them to call others to food. Goats release them during mating periods. It’s like a natural communication system.

But here’s the twist. Some scientists say it might just be coincidence. Since everyone’s cycle length is slightly different, after some months they may naturally overlap at some point. So it could be biology… or just timing.
