“My sister gave me the phone, I didn’t know it was stolen” — Alleged k!ller of Super Tv boss Chidinma Ojukwu’s sister testifies as murder trial nears judgment
The ongoing trial over the killing of Super TV boss, Usifo Ataga, is approaching its final stage as the third defence witness took the stand.
Chioma Ebuche, sister to the prime suspect Chidinma Ojukwu, appeared in court and addressed questions surrounding a phone allegedly linked to the case.
During her testimony, she stated that she did not know the phone given to her by her sister was stolen. According to her, Chidinma invited her over and handed her the device, which she accepted without questioning its origin.
Under cross-examination, she maintained that she had no knowledge of how the phone was obtained.
The case, which has been ongoing since 2021, is now said to be in its final phase, with this third defence expected to be the last before judgment is delivered.
