Nigeria Hotels Association Akwa Ibom State Branch Set for August Masterclass

The Nigerian Hotel Association, Akwa Ibom State Branch, is proud to announce the August edition of its Monthly Masterclass Series, designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of hospitality professionals in the state.

The August edition of the series is scheduled for 26 August 2024, and will feature renowned industry expert, Mrs. Justina Ovat, as the trainer. The masterclass will take place at the prestigious Aliz Ambruz Hotel, Osongama, Uyo by 9am. 

This initiative aims to provide a platform for continuous learning and development, focusing on best practices, industry trends, and innovative strategies to drive excellence in the hospitality sector and participation is free. 

According to the lead sponsor, the Honourary Special Adviser to Akwa Ibom State Governor on Culture & Tourism, Mr Nkereuwem Onung, "we are committed to raising the bar in the hospitality industry in Akwa Ibom State,enhancing the capacity of members of the Daniel Udoh led Nigerian Hotel Association, Akwa Ibom State Branch, in an intentional effort to shape the future of hospitality in the state.

Mr Nkereuwem, who doubles as the President of Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) said "the Monthly Masterclass Series will equip professionals with the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional services and stay ahead in the competitive market. He hinted that this model, if adopted by stakeholders in the sector across states of the federation, will add value to the tourism ecosystem in Nigeria". 

The August masterclass will cover leadership and team building for hospitality professionals, hotel owners, and managers who are encouraged to attend and benefit from the expertise of Mrs. Ovat.
