Making Waves: Nigeria Maritime University Dominates NUGA Games Debut!

It's halfway into the #27NUGAGames holding in Jos, Plateau State, and while Benson Idahosa University is currently dominating the competition, a powerful new contender has registered a spectacular presence on the medals table!

For their first time ever participating in the NUGA Games, the Nigeria Maritime University (NMU) has achieved a truly historic feat: securing an impressive 9th position on the overall medals table!

This phenomenal achievement is all the more remarkable considering the sheer scale of the competition—NMU placed 9th out of 70 participating universities in their debut outing! This is a clear testament to the grit, skill, and determination of the NMU athletes. From the classroom to the field, the 'sailors' have proven they are a force to be reckoned with, making history for their institution right here in Jos.

With the event winding to a close on November 16th, all eyes are on the Nigeria Maritime University to see how many more medals they will bring home!
