In celebration of World Maritime Day, the Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) organized an essay writing competition centered around this year's theme: *“Navigating the Future, Safety First!”* We are excited to announce that four cadets from the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, showcased their talents and represented the institution exceptionally well!

A heartfelt congratulations to Cadet Felicia Ebikaboere James for securing 1st runner-up, along with Cadets Christian Ogbuehi, Kalu Michael Tochukwu, and Ugwumadu Benjamin, who also earned recognition as prize winners.
