FAVOUR, STOP FEEDING ON PLASTIC

Dear pen chewers, we need to talk.

Some people don't just use a pen to write...
They use it as a snack.
The moment they're thinking, reading, or feeling bored, the pen cap somehow finds its way into their mouth. Before you know it, they've chewed it so much that it looks like it survived a dog attack.

It feels harmless, doesn't it?

Until you realise what that little habit could be exposing you to.

Think about everywhere a pen goes. It falls on classroom floors, office desks, hospital counters, public tables, inside bags, and sometimes even the ground. Most people never disinfect their pens. Then, without thinking twice, they put the cap straight into their mouth.

You're not just chewing plastic..
You could also be introducing bacteria, viruses, fungi, dirt, and other germs into your mouth.

And that's not all.

Chewing hard plastic over and over can wear down your teeth, damage dental fillings, irritate your gums, and even strain your jaw. Some people have accidentally swallowed broken pieces of pen caps, and although many pen caps are designed with a small hole to reduce the risk of choking, swallowing them can still be dangerous and may require medical attention.

If you constantly find yourself chewing pen caps, pencils, or other objects without noticing, it may simply be a habit triggered by boredom, stress, anxiety, or deep concentration. Becoming aware of it is the first step to breaking it.

Anytime you're studying and your pen mysteriously starts travelling toward your mouth.

Your pen is meant to collect ink... not saliva.
