Fellow colleagues,

As I stand before you, seeking your trust to represent our interests, I am motivated by a deep sense of responsibility and a commitment to improving our working conditions. We are at a critical juncture where the passage of the NMU Bill, staff welfare, transportation costs, and the need for conducive working environments are challenges that require strong and effective representation.

1.Motivation and Goals: My decision to run is driven by the pressing need to address these challenges head-on. I am determined to ensure that our voices are not only heard but acted upon. My goal is clear: to champion your rights, enhance our working conditions, and secure the future of our university community.

2. Listening to Concerns: I believe that representation starts with listening. I will establish regular forums and ensure that every staff member has a platform to voice their concerns. My phone line will always be open because your input is invaluable to shaping our collective future.

3. Understanding of Challenges: I am fully aware of the issues that we face – from the uncertainty surrounding the NMU Bill to the high costs of transportation, inadequate welfare, and the pressing need for reliable electricity and internet services. These are not just inconveniences; they are barriers to our productivity and well-being. I am committed to tackling these issues with urgency and resolve.

4. Balancing Needs: Our community is diverse, and so are our needs. I will ensure that all groups within our workforce are represented equitably. Through open dialogue and strategic planning, we will address these challenges together, ensuring no one is left behind.

5. Workers' Welfare: The well-being of our staff is at the forefront of my agenda. I will advocate for solutions that alleviate the burden of transportation costs, improve our working conditions, and ensure that we have the necessary resources to perform our duties effectively. A healthy work environment is essential for our success.

6. Communication: Transparency is the foundation of trust. I commit to keeping you informed through regular updates, whether via direct dialogue or WhatsApp meetings. You will always know where we stand on the issues that matter most to you.

7. Advocating for Workers: My experience as a Labour Chairman and comrade in the industry has prepared me to be your advocate. During my tenure, my executive team and I ensured that workers' needs were addressed, and I will bring that same dedication and determination to this role. Together, we will achieve meaningful progress.

8. Collaboration: Working collaboratively with the university administration and other stakeholders is key to our success. I will ensure that your perspectives are represented in all decisions that affect us, especially concerning the NMU Bill and staff welfare.

9. Building Unity: In these challenging times, unity is our strength. I will promote inclusivity and mutual respect within our community, ensuring that we stand together in solidarity as we work towards our common goals.

10. Accountability and Transparency: I believe in leading by example. My actions will be guided by transparency and accountability. I will regularly report back to you, ensuring that my representation is always aligned with your needs and expectations.
