A New Dawn at Nigeria Maritime University.

A milestone day in the annals of our great institution Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko as we officially welcome and bring on board the new Vice Chancellor Professor Flora Tobolayefa Oluwafemi to assume duty as the head of administration of the institution.

With pride in our hearts and unity in our stride, riding on a wave of color, discipline, and focus, the entire University community is warmly alive when your grand welcome and ceremonial parade was organized in your honor.

Electric in the air was the mood of the day — truly an expression of the hope and of the expectation and of the recommitment that we all make in a new sense of this great citadel of learning. When twilight fell over cadets, faculty and dignitaries gathered shoulder to shoulder on the Hill, we were made to understand that leadership is not merely a position, it is constituents.

As we hoist our sails into this new season, we do so with optimism and a collective commitment to charting new frontiers in maritime education and global relevance.
