Suspected armed robbers have attacked a lodge housing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Hadejia, Jigawa State, Northern Nigeria.
Hadejia, located in eastern Jigawa State, is a town bordered by Kiri Kasama Local Government to the east, Mallam Maɗori Local Government to the north, and Auyo Local Government to the west.
According to a source, the robbers stormed the corps members’ lodge over the weekend, making off with valuables including laptops, cell phones, and money.
This incident marks the fourth such attack on the lodge in the past eight months. The source added that some occupants were injured during the assault.
“Hadejia corpers’ lodge in Jigawa state was attacked by suspected hoodlums for the fourth time this year. They broke our entrance door and injured some of our members. We urgently need help and prayers,” the source stated.
