NMU Cadets Secure Qualification, Primed for NUGA 2025 Showdown

The Nigeria Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko, Delta State, is thrilled to confirm the full readiness and successful qualification of its dedicated Cadet athletes for the 27th Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) in 2025. These Cadets have successfully navigated rigorous qualifiers to earn the right to represent the institution in their respective sporting competitions.

The journey to this stage was spearheaded by the committed efforts of the NMU sports department, including the strategic guidance of Chief Coach Oringo Binapado. Further strengthening the team’s foundation, the athletes were personally accompanied through the qualification process by the Ag. Director of Sports, Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State, underscoring the management’s direct support and belief in the team’s potential.

In response to this significant achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria Maritime University, Prof. Flora Tobolayefa Oluwafemi, extends her heartfelt congratulations.
