The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has issued a September 15, 2024 deadline for telephone users to link their mobile numbers with their National Identity Numbers (NIN). Failure to comply by this date will result in the deactivation of their mobile lines.
According to the NCC, a total of 153 million subscribers have already completed the process of linking their SIM cards with their NINs.
